Vreven said the 21-year-old has been using pain killers to subject the effect of the pain of the injury he is currently nursing as they approach the business end of the season with relegation starting them in the face.
”Sadiq is not fully fit. The last game he scored for us against Sparta he had to take injections to play in that game and that was why he was introduced for the last 15 minutes of the game.
”We are taking our time with him because he is very important to our ambition of beating the drop.
“In the last game, he played for just five minutes despite not training at all in the build up to the game,” Vreven disclosed.
